KIND Eco Wedding Rings
Since KIND Collection was founded, we have always worked closely with engaged couples to create their dream wedding bands. Staying true to the KIND ethos, each Eco Wedding Ring is lovingly handcrafted by Tansy Haak using 100% recycled Gold, Platinum or Fairmined Gold.
Despite the delays and postponements of weddings across the globe, it has been so heartwarming to still work with couples who are preparing to tie the knot soon. Whether their wedding has happened or not, many of our KIND customers have made the conscious decision to start wearing their rings during lockdown, cherishing them during these trying times.
Today we want to share with you the process for all Bespoke and Wedding Ring orders that are placed at KIND. Many hours, days and weeks go into each piece, and we are always so proud of the work that we produce. If you would like to commission your own piece, get in touch!
Stage one: Contact KIND to organise an online meeting + discuss ideas
To schedule a meeting with the KIND founder, Tansy Haak, click HERE. During the meeting, we will help you develop a design from start to finish. If you have any styles in mind, we would love it if you could bring along some “inspo images”, to help us understand your dream ring a little better. If you would like to include any of your own gems or Gold/Platinum let us know, and we can include it in the final piece!
Stage two: Tansy will draw your bespoke ring
Lets bring your idea to life! After the meeting, Tansy will draw up your design, so you can get a better idea of what it will look like. From here you can request as many edits as you need. We want your ring to be a perfect reflection of you!
Stage three: A wax model of the ring will be sent out
Once the drawings are approved, the magic starts! Tansy will carve your design out into a wax mould, and will send it to you. This will give you an opportunity to see what your ring will look like, and how well it fits. Final edits can be made here if needed.
Stage four: Metal is moulded and gems are set and ring is polished
Your ring will now be set using the wax mould. The Gold/Platinum will be solidified, and any gems will be set here too.
Stage five: Engraving
One of the final steps is the engravings! Once the ring has been set, you can engrave a special message, name, date or symbol into your new ring. You can choose any font, or you can use your own handwriting for that extra personal touch.
Stage six: Rings sent out for you to enjoy
Wrapped up and ready to go! Your rings will now be finished, and will be sent out to you.
