With so many designers and brands producing jewellery across the globe, it can be hard to know who to support, and where to invest your money. As always, we encourage our audience to choose carefully, and purchase from small or local businesses whenever possible. Today we are sharing the benefits of our handmade jewellery – and why quality over quantity is best. Let’s discus!

UNIQUE

From our collection to our bespoke services, every piece of jewellery from KIND has been carefully handcrafted. Each piece is made to order, which means your jewellery will be unique to you, as there will always be slight variations in the design. We see the beauty in imperfections and we celebrate these variations for their individuality, and we hope you do too.

QUALITY

We use ethically sourced materials from selected suppliers to create our jewellery, and you can learn more about this on our recent blog – The KIND Supply Chain. We strongly believe in the mantra that “less is more”, which is why we only use the highest quality, longest lasting materials in our collection. A significant amount of time goes into each design, and they are made to be worn for decades, and passed down through generations. We take great pride in the work that we produce, and we offer our customers free repairs on any damages (within reason) that occur to their KIND jewellery. 

LESS WASTE

At KIND, we make a conscious effort to reduce our waste, wherever possible. One of the beautiful benefits of handmade jewellery means that our collection is made to order, so we are never left with any dead stock. On the busy gifting occasions (i.e. Christmas), we will often preemptively create more stock – however if it doesn’t sell, we can melt it back down and turn it into a new design (that’s the beauty of working with solid metals!).

PERSONALISATION

With each piece made to order, you are able to personalise your design to best suit you. We offer engravings and the addition of gemstones in a range of our jewellery, so you can create a piece that represents you and your life’s history. These personalised pieces are perfect for gifting – especially as the holiday season is fast approaching. If you would like to personalise a piece of jewellery with a gemstone – but it isn’t available on the product listing, please get in touch! We will do our best to help you source a stone, and fit it into you new piece.

Although handmade jewellery can sometimes come at a higher price, the investment is worth it in the long run. Our jewellery is made to last a lifetime – not a season, and it has been made with our planet and humankind in mind.
