International Women's Day, 2022

International Women’s Day is coming up on Tuesday, March 8th, and this year we are celebrating with the theme #breakthebias.

As a brand, KIND strives to be 100% inclusive. This is reflected in our audience, our customers and our suppliers. We aim to consistently support the women throughout our entire supply chain and provide a balanced workplace for all. Sustainability is at the core of our business – and to us, that goes deeper than the products themselves. At KIND, we believe that we cannot achieve a fully sustainable world without #breakingthebias and making opportunities available to all – regardless of their gender.

As a female founded business, KIND is empowered by the inspirational women that surrounds us. We see, celebrate and hand make every order that is placed with us online. When you purchase from KIND, you are supporting an individual and a dream to make ethical jewellery accessible to a wider audience.

We have never been big on traditions – but rather are big believers in doing whatever feels right. Over the years, we have loved seeing a number of KIND customers #breakthebias as they choose to throw away the tradition of the woman being proposed to, and initiating the marital bond with many of our female customers being the proposer! Male engagement rings have become an increasingly popular commission in our bespoke studio, and we love the creative designs that have come with it. From signet rings to thick engagement bands, we admire those who break the bias and take the proposal into their own hands.

At KIND, we want to change the mindset that jewellery is purely an accessory and rather highlight the ways that each small piece of art can tell it’s own story. If you would like to arrange a time to talk to Tansy about creating your own special bespoke design, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. Our bookings are now available via the “Eco-Wedding” tab on our website.
